if,whether
這兩個(gè)詞的共同意思是“假使，如果”。
1.if從句可以表示希望；而whether從句單純表示事實(shí)。
2.if不能用在介詞之后的間接疑問(wèn)句中；而whether可以。
3.if不能用在“to+動(dòng)詞原形”的前面；而whether可以。
4.if不能引導(dǎo)主語(yǔ)、表語(yǔ)從句；而whether可以。
5.if作“是否”解時(shí)，多用于口語(yǔ)，引出賓語(yǔ)從句，不能直接跟or not連用。6.whether多用于書面語(yǔ)中，可與or或or not連用，除引出賓語(yǔ)從句外，還可引出主語(yǔ)從句、表語(yǔ)從句、同位語(yǔ)從句或與不定式連用。
